# Boonk Privacy Policy

Boonk is published by **modulux.net**. This policy explains how information is handled when you play Boonk or contact us about the game.

Our approach is simple: you can play without creating a Boonk account. Your progress is saved on your device. Platform cloud saving and daily reminders are optional.

## 1. Information saved on your device

Boonk saves information needed to remember your game, including completed and unlocked levels, scores, stars, collected drawings, daily challenge progress, rewards, and preferences such as language, sound, music, appearance, and reminders.

These records let the game restore your progress and preferences. Boonk does not send your local save files to a server operated by modulux.net. Optional platform saving is explained below. Your operating system may also include app data in its own backups, depending on your device settings.

The game does not need access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or precise location to play.

## 2. Optional platform cloud saves

Where supported and configured, you can connect platform services to back up and synchronise your progress: Google Play Games on Android, or Apple Game Center and iCloud on Apple devices. Basic gameplay does not require this connection.

If you enable this feature, game progress such as scores, stars, unlocked levels, drawings, goals, and daily challenge records is sent to the platform provider and associated with your platform account. The provider also handles the account identifiers, authentication, and technical connection information needed to operate its service. Boonk does not ask for or store your Google or Apple password.

Turning off platform sync in Boonk stops the game's future synchronisation. It does **not** automatically delete copies already stored by the platform or in device backups.

## 3. Optional daily reminders

Daily reminders are off unless you enable them. Where required, your device asks for notification permission.

Boonk schedules these reminders locally on your device. We do not need your email address, phone number, or a remote push-notification subscription to send them. You can turn reminders off in Boonk or disable notifications in your device settings.

## 4. Sharing a score

Sharing happens only when you choose it. Boonk prepares a message containing your score and details of the run, such as the level or challenge, difficulty, and earned stars. You choose the app and recipient using your device's sharing controls. Where native sharing is unavailable, the message is copied to your clipboard instead.

The app you choose handles the shared message under its own privacy policy. Boonk does not automatically publish your score to a public leaderboard or social network.

## 5. Unity and technical information

Boonk is built with Unity. Unity runtime technology may process technical information about the device, app, and diagnostics according to the features and settings in use. The current version of Boonk does not display advertising or use Unity Analytics to analyse your gameplay. This does not mean that the operating system, store, or platform services process no technical information.

## 6. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to attach, such as a screenshot or error report. We use this information to answer your question, investigate a problem, or deal with your privacy request. Please do not send passwords or information that is unnecessary for your request.

Our email service provider processes those messages to deliver and store our correspondence. We do not sell your personal information or use your support messages for advertising.

We keep correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and related follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it, subject to any legal reason we must keep it.

## 7. Your choices, retention, and deletion

Local progress remains on your device until the app's stored data is removed. On Android, you can clear Boonk's storage in the device's app settings. Removing the app normally removes its local app data on mobile devices, but operating-system backups or platform cloud copies may remain or restore it later. On desktop, saved data may remain after uninstalling; contact us if you need help locating it.

For platform cloud saves, use the provider's game-data or account controls, or contact its support. Disconnecting Boonk is not a cloud-data deletion request. We cannot directly erase information held independently by Google, Apple, or another platform provider. Contact us if you need help identifying the relevant service.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold, or to object to or restrict its use. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Send requests to **support@modulux.net**. We may ask for reasonable information to verify that a request concerns your own data.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we handle support correspondence for our legitimate interest in helping players and keeping the game reliable, or to fulfil legal obligations. Optional services are used at your request; we obtain consent where required by law.

## 8. Children and families

Boonk does not ask players to provide a name, email address, or date of birth to play. Platform account and notification features remain subject to the provider's age rules and parental controls.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information that should not have been provided, please contact **support@modulux.net** so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

## 9. Security and external services

We take reasonable steps to protect information we handle, but no device, storage system, or internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Platform, engine, and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy notices describe their processing and safeguards. We only disclose information we handle where needed for the purposes described here or where required by law.

## 10. Changes and contact

If Boonk's privacy practices change, we will update this policy and its date. Where required, we will give additional notice or request consent before introducing a new use of personal information.
